TGIF

Are you bored with your mid-morning or afternoon snack? Do you want a new, healthy snack idea? I know it's easy to get bored with bananas & carrot sticks and sometimes you want something to crunch! Try this...

KALE CHIPS

Not only do these taste delicious but they are super nutritious! Kale chips are easy to make, have endless health benefits and are great for party treats. They spark curiosity and people always find them interestingly yummy (even guys who request greasy chips & fattening dips)

Prep Time: 10 minutes
Cook Time: 10 minutes
Ingredients:
1 small bunch of kale
1 tsp sea salt
2 tbsp olive oil

Directions:
  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
  2. Remove kale from stalk, leaving the greens in large pieces.
  3. Place a little olive oil in a bowl, dip your fingers and rub a very light coat of oil over the kale.
  4. Place kale on baking sheet and sprinkle with sea salt. Bake for 5 minutes or until it starts to turn a bit brown. Keep an eye on it as it can burn quickly.
  5. Turn the kale over and bake with the other side up. Remove and serve.
Kale Chips are a SUPERFOOD for 3 main reasons-they are antioxidant rich, have anti-inflammatory agents and contain anti-cancer nutrients. This makes them an obviously good snacking choice!
TGIF! Try these out this weekend and share the wealth with friends & family! xoxo
